SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition machine running Windows 2000 Advanced Ser
ver. The server has 4 GB of RAM installed but for some reason SQL Server is
only utilizing less than 2 GB.
Sp_Configure 'awe enabled" was changed
and win.ini also.
what else has to be done....?win.ini? Do you mean boot.ini?

>|||With only 4gGB of ram you should turn off AWE and place the /3GB switch in
the boot.ini. This will give you 3GB for SQL Server and 1for the OS.
