A better SQL editor.

I think that the SQL Query Analyzer and its successor in SQL2005 suck.
They provide no intellisense whatsoever and it just feels like Notepad
with an Execute button. Anyway, what are the SQL editor alternatives
that people here use? Preferably not more expensive than $400.
Thanks.Well, if you want intellisense perhaps you should check out PromptSQL:

DB2, SQL Server, etc.

pretty good so far. I feel somewhat apprehensive about entering the
login info for my database for it to connect, do you know anything
about the company?|||Hello Ben,
Atadore, the creator of PromptSQL is a Swiss registered company -- it
will be on the registrar of companies if you need to confirm the owners
etc. Some background about me:

If you contact us via the contact form on our web site I'll be happy to
provide you with any additional information you may need.

Damian (author of PromptSQL)|||Well, it needs to connect somehow to get the information...
The company is just one guy, AFAIK. If you don't trust the product, run it
on a dev server and monitor your network for outgoing traffic. But I
seriously doubt that it's doing anything unauthorized.

FWIW PromptSQL makes no use of the network whatsoever. The only file
it accesses is the options XML file.

Damian
