A connection could not be made with report server

I am new in SQL Server 2005. I am practicing report services and I got
following error:
"A connection could not be made with report server at
https://localhost/ReportServer "
Can anyone help?
DarrenIs SSL set up for the ReportServer virtual directory? What happens
when you connect to http://localhost/reportserver? What happens when
you navigate to http://<machinename>/ReportServer?
